Briar-Rose is a relatively young high-elf.
Her grandmother held the throne on behalf of the Fae for many years, until she abdicated after making a number of poor decisions. She proposed her granddaughter as the new regent, and all Fae and most Dwarves agree that this was probably the best decision she's made.
Briar-Rose escapes from the Palace in the Principality when her country is attacked from the inside, and makes her way to the Royal Palace in Hearth, Dracænaia, to seek asylum and aid. She is welcomed by Frank and Katherine, and they support her fight for her country. Briar-Rose chooses to enter an official alliance with Dracænaia.
