Pronunciation rules
Dracænaian names are mostly pronounced in an (Irish) Gaelic manner.
Hill Tribe names are mostly pronounced with emphasis on the first syllable.
Additionally two vowels together are typically pronounced as dual monophthongs. If a diphthong is intended, the name is represented with a digraph where possible (like æ in Dracænaia).
When dual vowels are shown, the first vowel is typically the long sound. So the main protagonist’s name (Mierin) in Mierin's Tale is pronounced as /ˈmiɛrɪn/, whereas the name of the country (Dracænaia) is pronounced as /ˈdrasːɛ̹ˌnajɐ/.
Tigrin names are ancient Egyptian in origin, and should be pronounced in that manner.
